Wendell is a distinguished alumni of Ball State University and a Sports Hall of Fame Inductee. As a former professional athlete, and now the Owner and CEO of Brown Elite, a Sports Performance & Fitness Training Company and Brand, Wendell is dedicated to helping athletes of all levels achieve their goals and reach their full potential. He is also the Founder of the Brown Elite Youth Elevation Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit youth and community empowerment organization that provides mentorship, tutoring, leadership and life skills courses, academic and athletic college scholarship opportunities, and more to young men and women.

In addition to his work with Brown Elite, Wendell is the Founder of the iHOPE Project, a nonprofit organization that provides invaluable assistance to citizens and their families who are incarcerated internationally. With an in-depth understanding of foreign criminal justice, court, and prison systems, Wendell is committed to guiding those in need through the complex process. Wendell is also a program director and coach with the Sound Mind Sound Body Football Academy, and serves as the Strength and Conditioning Coordinator and Linebacker Coach for the State of Michigan’s #1 ranked and #38 nationally ranked Detroit Martin Luther King Jr. Senior High School football team. Through his leadership and guidance, Wendell has helped countless individuals achieve their goals and make a positive impact in their communities.
